Match Report:

The weather conditions played a big part in this game and made it really difficult for the boys to get the ball down and play passing football. Both teams tried to deal with the conditions and a big well done must go to Theale Tigers, who came out of the game with a lot of credit.

Wrightchoice had the better of the first half with the weather on their side but the team’s inability to control the ball meant that Theale were able to keep them from scoring. Wrightchoice eventually broke through early in the second half and looked to add another soon after, but it was Theale who equalised after a defensive mistake.

Theale looked like they were to earn a well-deserved draw when Wrightchoice broke away with two sweeping moves to make the score 3-1. Theale didn’t give up though, and they effort gave them another goal not long before the end.
