The following questions were given to the parents and the child. Our aim is to ensure both the parent and child understands the Wrightchoice ethos. Any negatives will be turned into positives and the positives will be used for continued improvement.
Child Questions:
(WCSA) In what way has Wrightchoice benefited you at School?
(C) Wrightchoice is a good club to be at; they focus on doing well at school and being disciplined. If I don’t do well at school then the coaches at Wrightchoice don’t let me play football.
(WCSA) How has Wrightchoice improved you as a player?
(C) They have helped me and have got me where I am now. They have taught me good skills. They have good teams and coaches and teach me about discipline.
(WCSA) How did Wrightchoice prepare you for going into QPR's Schools of Excellence?
(C) If it wasn’t for the help of the coaches at Wrightchoice I wouldn’t be where I am now. The sessions were similar to the ones I do at QPR which makes it easier for me to do and understand.
(WCSA) Describe the relationship between you and the coaches at Wrightchoice?
(C) We are very close because of my Dad Simon Chandler. The coaches are very polite to me, I feel like they are a part of my family.
(WCSA) What do you enjoy most about the coaching at Wrightchoice?
(C) They don’t shout at you they teach you good things. They are all good at coaching and are a part of my family.
(WCSA) What has been your best moment at Wrightchoice?
(C) Meeting the coaches and getting to know all of the children and no team is like Wrightchoice. I love being part of Wrightchoice. Every moment has been my best one.
(WCSA) What player do you model yourself on and why?
(C) Lionel Messi of Barcelona because he is fast has good skills and I feel that is what I am like when I play.
Parent Questions:
(WCSA) How much do you feel the coaching at Wrightchoice has developed your child?
(P) Tyrese has been a part of the organisation since it started in 2003. Through Wrightchoice he has developed into an outstanding player. He now also helps to coach the younger kids on the community night sessions.
(WCSA) In what way has the Wrightchoice organisation benefited your child outside of Football?
(P) He has learned many values through the organisation since the emphasis is not just on football. He has learned social skills and about other cultures and backgrounds which is a massive benefit outside of football.
(WCSA) Describe the relationship between your child and the coaches at Wrightchoice?
(P) They have a great relationship and have lots of respect for each other. The coaches are experienced enough to recognized that all kids display different attributes and they treat all of the children as individuals.
(WCSA) What would be your reasons for recommending Wrightchoice to other children/parents?
(P) Wrightchoice is not a football club. It is a Registered Charity that practices ethics that you would not find in a normal football club. The children are always paramount in any situation and it is about the children interacting and having fun more than being competitive. I am 100% behind the organisation in every aspect.
