Our Philosophy

We at Wrightchoice provide exciting innovative sessions designed to ensure players have plenty of contact time with the ball. Our belief is that technical ability can be developed in players from a very young age and we structure our work around this viewpoint. Our staff offer a variety of sessions, which develop balance & control, co-ordination, dribbling technique, passing and technique. We believe in encouraging creativity from players on the pitch.

Kobina Elliott – Development Manager & Coach

Job Role

Kobina works alongside Simon Chandler and Jonnie Clarke in organisation of everyday charity matters. As Development Manager Kobina works alongside the Project Manager to develop the capacity of Wrightchoice CSA by sourcing funding for the charity.

As well as the daytime responsibility of computer administration and paperwork, Kobina interacts with the members of Wrightchoice on a daily basis on the training pitch when coaching the Wrightchoice CSA teams. On a match day Kobina is responsible for the Under 9 and the Under 10 age groups.

Personal History

I have been involved with Wrightchoice since the summer of 2007 when I started volunteering at the Friday Community Night. After completing my Sports Sciences degree at Brunel University, I decided I wanted a career in sport, specifically in football.

After a brief period at Reading Football in the Community I was made aware of a full-time opportunity at Wrightchoice CSA. I was more than happy to grasp the chance to become involved in this organisation.

This organisation is all about offering opportunity to young people, both in a sporting and a holistic life sense. I believe there is no better environment in which to foster my coaching development.

I have a firm belief in the potential of Wrightchoice and am dedicated to helping the charity fulfil its aim of being a sustainable sports organisation long into the future.
